Grey adhesive weights
You use grey adhesive weight when the balancing weight must not stand out on the rim. The grey coating blends into silver and grey wheel finishes, including alloy rims. You choose by weight or strip size, so the roll suits the job you are doing. A roll of 1200 x 5 gram with 6 kg of grey coated lead is a standard size in the workshop. If you prefer black, there is black adhesive weight for dark rims. That pulls the weight tight against the rim.

Which weight per strip
You buy adhesive weight by weight per strip. A 5 gram strip suits fine corrections. Heavier strips are for when more weight is needed. Read on the wheel balancer which weight you need and pick the strip that matches. A roll of 1200 x 5 gram holds 6 kg of lead, enough for plenty of wheels.
Grey or black
The grey coating blends into silver and grey wheel finishes. For dark rims, black adhesive weight is the better choice. Look at the rim before you stick anything on.
Fitting to the rim
Clean the rim and remove grease before you stick the weight on. Peel off the backing film and press the weight down firmly. On a roll with 5 gram per strip you simply pull off one strip.

Order grey adhesive weight by the roll or by the set. Check the weight per strip and the size you are used to. A roll of 1200 x 5 gram with 6 kg is a standard size.
