Brass coupling adapter to convert an M1/4" SAE connection to F3/8" SAE. This allows you to connect a service hose or manifold set with a 1/4" SAE fitting to equipment with a 3/8" SAE connection, such as vacuum pumps, refrigerant cylinders or older service connections.
The adapter is made of solid brass and features a machined conical M1/4" SAE male flare connection on the top side. The generous hex in the centre allows tightening with a wrench. On the bottom side there is an F3/8" SAE female flare connection.
Both sides seal according to the SAE flare principle, metal-to-metal, without an O-ring. Only use the adapter between connections with the correct sizing; different SAE sizes are not interchangeable.
