Service couplers for air conditioning systems
Service couplers connect your service equipment, hoses or charging station to the service ports of an air conditioning system. This category covers manual quick couplers for both the high-pressure side (HP) and the low-pressure side (LP), with and without an integrated tap.
A coupler clicks onto the system's service port and connects on the other end to a 1/4" SAE hose or station. Versions with a tap let you open and close the flow while connecting and disconnecting, so no refrigerant escapes. The high-pressure side is usually marked red, the low-pressure side blue.
High- and low-pressure couplers are not interchangeable. R134a and R1234yf also use different connections: an R1234yf coupler does not fit an R134a system and vice versa. Before ordering, always check which side (HP or LP) and which refrigerant your system uses.
