Adapter M1/4" SAE x M1/8" NPT brass
Brass coupling adapter from M1/4" SAE male (conical) to M1/8" NPT male (pipe thread).
Note: always check the connection sizes of your service equipment and hoses before ordering. SAE and NPT connections are not interchangeable with other types or sizes.
Brass coupling adapter to convert a M1/4" SAE connection to M1/8" NPT. This allows you to connect a service hose or manifold set with 1/4" SAE to equipment with a 1/8" NPT pipe thread, such as pressure gauges, sensors or service blocks.
The adapter is made of solid brass and features a machined conical M1/4" SAE male flare connection on one side, and a M1/8" NPT male pipe thread on the other side. The hex flat in the middle allows tightening with a wrench.
The SAE side seals using the flare principle, metal-to-metal. The NPT side is a tapered pipe thread that seals on the thread itself; use thread sealant where necessary. Only use the adapter between connections with the correct sizing.
