The Dura-Vulc SP 03 W combination umbrella patch is a universal repair unit for inside repairs of small punctures in tubeless tyres. The combination of a round patch with an integrated plug provides a strong seal of both the tread and the inner side of the tyre in a single operation.
The plug is pulled outward through the repair hole, after which the patch is pressed against the inner side of the tyre and vulcanised. Suitable for punctures up to 3 mm in diameter, such as those caused by thin nails and screws. A 3 mm carbide cutter is used to prepare the repair hole to the correct size. This method is considered the most reliable permanent tyre repair and is suitable for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
