High-pressure quick coupling R-1234yf with protection and 1/4" SAE adapter
High-pressure quick coupling for R-1234yf air conditioning systems, protection version. Connects the service hose to the high-pressure port of the vehicle and is supplied with a brass adapter to M1/4" SAE for use with a standard 1/4" hose set.
Note: before ordering, verify that this coupling is compatible with your station, manifold set and the high-pressure port of the vehicle. R-1234yf couplings are not interchangeable with R-134a; always use the correct coupling for the refrigerant.
High-pressure quick coupling for charging and evacuating air conditioning systems operating on R-1234yf. Press the coupling onto the high-pressure service port of the vehicle; the knurled collar locks the coupling onto the port. The red colour indicates the high-pressure side, preventing confusion between the high- and low-pressure sides.
The coupling features an F12x1.5 connection for R-1234yf service hoses and is supplied with a brass adapter M12x1.5 × M1/4" SAE (7/16"-20UNF) with a green HNBR O-ring. This also allows the coupling to be connected to a standard 1/4" SAE hose set. The body is made of anodised aluminium and the version includes protection.
R-1234yf and R-134a systems use different couplings that are physically incompatible with each other, preventing the wrong gases from being mixed. Therefore, use this coupling exclusively for R-1234yf. A separate high-pressure coupling is available for R-134a.
