Hydraulic pullers
Hydraulic pullers turn pump pressure into controlled pulling force. You use them on bearings, hubs and gears that no longer come off with a mechanical spindle, or on work where you want no impact. The range comes from KUKKO. A grease-hydraulic spindle fits your existing cross-arm: you keep your pullers and swap only the spindle. The pump-hydraulic series is a complete system with pump and cylinder. Separate spindles and cylinders are in hydraulic spindles and cylinders. Check the bore of your cross-arm and the size of the cylinder.

Hydraulic pullers: grease or pump hydraulic
Grease-hydraulic or pump-hydraulic
A grease-hydraulic spindle replaces the mechanical spindle on your existing cross-arm. You keep your pullers and swap only the spindle. A hydraulic spindle needs no pump: you build the pressure with the spindle itself. Such a spindle reaches 12 or 15 tonnes of pulling force. A pump-hydraulic system consists of a pump, a cylinder and pressure pieces. You use it where you want no impact and the force has to build up in a controlled way. Look at the bore of your cross-arm and the size of the cylinder before you order.
Universal pullers and internal pullers
You take a two-arm universal puller with adjustable puller jaws for bearings and hubs on a shaft. The universal pullers have interchangeable puller jaws, so you use the same puller for different diameters. For a seized bearing inside a housing you use an internal puller. It grips the inner ring, not the outside. For work you cannot reach with a puller there are slide hammers and counterstays. You tap those loose with a hammer, with a counterstay to absorb the force.
Bearing pullers, separators and ball joints
For seized bearings and hubs you use a bearing puller with separator. The separator slides behind the bearing ring and spreads the pulling force. You drive a separator fork between two parts that are shrunk onto each other. For ball joints and track rod ends there is a ball joint puller. It pushes the ball out of the hub without damaging the rubber bush. For wiper arms you use a wiper arm puller. You set it on the shaft and pull the arm straight up, without touching the windscreen.
Puller sets for the workshop
A puller set bundles several pullers and accessories in a case. That saves you hunting for a single puller for every job. The heaviest versions are floor models you do not lift by hand. For an existing cross-arm you choose a separate spindle or cylinder. For a complete system with pump you choose the pump-hydraulic series.
