KUKKO 128-2 Ball Joint Puller, 23 mm Opening

The bell-shaped separator surrounds the ball joint completely and braces on the steering knuckle, after which the spindle presses the taper straight out. Because the load is taken all round, nothing tilts and the boot survives — which is exactly why you use this tool instead of two hammers.

Choose on fork opening, not on brand or model year: measure the diameter of the threaded stud or taper the tool has to fit around. The bell shape also works where there is little room from the side, for instance on a knuckle sitting close to the strut.
