Service adapter R134a high pressure x F1/4" SAE
Service adapter for the high pressure side (HP) of R134a air conditioning systems. Top R-134a high pressure quick coupling, bottom F1/4" SAE female thread. Zinc-plated steel, supplied with red high pressure dust cap.
Note: always check the connection sizes of your service equipment and vehicle before ordering. High pressure (HP) connections are not interchangeable with low pressure (LP) connections.
Service adapter for the high pressure side of an R134a air conditioning system. The adapter is screwed onto the service port via the F1/4" SAE female thread and converts it to the R-134a quick coupling standard, allowing an A/C charging station or manifold set to be connected to the high pressure side.
The adapter is made from zinc-plated steel with yellow chromate passivation and features a hex fitting for tightening with a wrench. The top forms the R-134a high pressure service port where the hose quick coupling clicks into place; the bottom is F1/4" SAE (7/16-20UNF-2B) female thread. The included dust cap is red with an H marking — the standard designation for the high pressure side — and keeps dirt and moisture out of the connection.
The high pressure and low pressure sides intentionally use different connection sizes to prevent them from being mixed up. Therefore, use this HP adapter exclusively on the high pressure side of the system.
