Pumps have different hose lengths, working pressures and mounting options. Check the number of parts and whether they can be hung. Note the minimum working pressure for safe use.

Choosing containers, funnels and pumps
Capacity and material determine the choice
Choose a container based on the fluid you use. Plastic is light and resistant to most fluids. Metal is stronger and can handle higher temperatures. Check the capacity in litres. Too small means more frequent refills. Too large takes up unnecessary space.
Funnels: diameter and design
Funnels come in several diameters. Measure the opening where you need to pour. A funnel that is too small causes spills. One that is too large does not fit. Plastic funnels are flexible and do not break easily. Metal funnels are stiffer and last longer. Choose a funnel with a long spout for hard-to-reach openings.
Pumps: working pressure and lever
Pumps differ in working pressure and lever. A hand pump with a long lever gives more force per stroke. Check the minimum working pressure required for your application. Some pumps mount on the wall. Others are used free-standing. Make sure the hose is long enough and the pump is suitable for the fluid.
