Refrigerant & cylinders
Your A/C machine runs on the correct refrigerant. Never mix R134a and R1234yf because that destroys the compressor. Choose the cylinder by weight and type, and check the valve fitting on your recovery tank. Order the right gas for every repair.

Refrigerant and cylinders for A/C
Which refrigerant do you need?
Your A/C system runs on R134a or R1234yf. These gases are not interchangeable. Always check the vehicle plate or the machine. Mixing them up damages the compressor and the system. Choose the right gas for every repair.
Cylinders and recovery bottles
Refrigerant comes in disposable or returnable cylinders. Disposable cylinders are for single use. Returnable cylinders go back after use. Check the weight and the connection. A wrong connection leaks. That costs gas and time. Check the colour and the marking on the cylinder.
What to look for when ordering
Measure the connection on your recovery bottle. Look at the thread and the valve. Some machines need a special coupling. Choose a cylinder that fits your system. Order the gas in the right amount. This prevents running out halfway.
This belongs with air conditioning maintenance and works best with the right adapters and service couplers on your machine. If you use an A/C service station, the oil containers and work gloves and goggles also fit in here.
