A/C service stations
Select an A/C service unit based on the refrigerant used in your workshop. Modern cars use R1234yf, older ones R134a. A machine that handles both gives you flexibility. Tank capacity and pump speed determine cycle time. Ensure the unit evacuates, recycles and recharges automatically. Some units only recover refrigerant, they cannot recharge. You need a full service unit for complete maintenance.

Choose the right A/C service station
Which refrigerant do you use?
A/C service stations work with R134a or R1234yf. Modern cars use R1234yf. Older cars use R134a. A station that handles both is versatile. Check which refrigerant your cars use before you order. That prevents ordering the wrong station.
What should the station do?
A fully featured A/C service station evacuates, fills and tests. Some stations only recover refrigerant. You cannot use those for filling. Choose a model with automatic recovery, recycling and filling. That gives you full service capability. Tank capacity and pump speed determine cycle time. A larger tank and quicker pump work faster.
What about connections?
Check the connections on the station. They must fit the service ports on the cars. Most stations have standard connections for R134a and R1234yf. Also check if the station suits the amount of refrigerant you need. That avoids interruptions during the job.
A station on its own is not enough. Look at service sets for a complete set, order refrigerant and cylinders for filling and keep filters and service unit spare parts on hand for maintenance. Everything you need sits under air conditioning and maintenance.
