Foam and spray
Choose foam when a stubborn odour keeps coming back. Use a lance to reach the evaporator block properly. Check that the cleaner is suitable for aluminium. Many technicians order a spray when they need foam. That happens with odour complaints that return.
Ozone and odour
Does the odour return after foaming? Then ozone treatment is the next step. The ozone penetrates the evaporator and air ducts. Choose a unit with adjustable ozone output, so you match the dose to the car. That way you tackle bacteria that foam cannot reach.
What to watch during use
Always clean the A/C with the right equipment. A service set contains the parts you need for a maintenance service. Use the correct adapters to prevent leaks. It must fit the car's cooling system. A universal adapter is often the safest option. Work to the manufacturer's instructions. That prevents damage to the system and keeps the A/C hygienically clean.
