The number of teeth determines the fineness of the ratchet. More teeth give a smaller step per movement. That works well in tight spaces. A long handle gives more leverage. You can tighten heavier couplers without extra force.
Which material is suitable?
Choose chrome-vanadium steel for long use. This steel is strong and does not deform quickly. It withstands the forces on site. Check that the ratchet has a fine switching mechanism. That way you work safely and efficiently.
