Felt pads: protect your floor
What size and shape do you need?
Felt pads come as round pads, square pads, and sheets. Round pads are for chair and table legs. Square pads fit wider legs and furniture posts. Sheets you cut to size yourself. This way you protect larger surfaces, such as the underside of a sofa or cabinet.
What to consider when ordering?
Choose the thickness of the felt pad based on your floor and the furniture weight. Thinner pads work for light furniture on hard floors. Thicker pads absorb more unevenness and dampen better. Also mind the colour. Grey and brown pads blend in on grey and wooden floors. Beige is a neutral choice.
How to stick them properly
Clean the surface under the furniture leg thoroughly. Degrease it with a cloth and let it dry. Press the felt pad firmly. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before moving the furniture again. This prevents the pad from coming loose. Replace worn pads in time to avoid scratches.
