In this category you will find bit holders and adapters. They connect your bits to your drill or screwdriver. Most holders have a 6.3 mm (1/4 inch) hex socket. That fits any tool with the same connection.

Choose the right length

Short holders around 50 mm give you precision when driving screws. Long holders up to 150 mm reach screws in awkward spots. Extra long models up to 600 mm are for deep or narrow gaps. An automatic holder clamps the bit firmly. A magnetic holder keeps the bit in place with a magnet, but loses strength after heavy use.

Adapters for more options

With an adapter you can use your existing bits on other tools. For example, you can couple a ratchet or extension rod to a socket set with a different connection. A bit adapter with locking ball converts a 6.3 mm bit to a 10 mm or 12.5 mm internal square. Always check the size of your tool. A wrong adapter creates play and damages both the bit and the screw.
