Cooling System, Heating & Air Conditioning
This is tooling for your car's cooling system, heater, and air conditioning. You'll find filling and bleeding devices, antifreeze testers, and adapters. Check antifreeze strength, replace coolant, and pinpoint leaks. When ordering, check the connection size. It must match your vehicle. Also see if it replaces an OEM number.

Cooling and air conditioning tools
Tools for cooling, heating and air conditioning
This is the tool range for service and repair work on the cooling system, heating and air conditioning of passenger cars. You will find filling and bleeding devices, test adapters, antifreeze testers and leak detection equipment. The category is split into two main groups: cooling system tools and air conditioning tools.
Cooling system: filling, bleeding and testing
Cooling system work is about replacing coolant and finding leaks. A filling and bleeding device stops air from staying trapped in the system. Air in the system causes poor heat transfer and can damage the water pump. Use a pressure test kit to check that the system is sealed. A cooling system that loses pressure has a leak you need to find. For that you use a test adapter with a pressure gauge. Always check that the adapter fits the make and model of the car. Manufacturers use different connections, even within the same brand.
Air conditioning: filling, leak detection and releasing couplings
Air conditioning service needs specific tools. With a service station you recover the refrigerant, clean it and refill the system. If you work without a service station, use a filling set with a manifold gauge. A UV lamp with accessories helps you find leaks in the system. The refrigerant becomes visible at the leak point. To release line couplings and heater hoses, use special release tools. These tools prevent damage to the coupling or hose. There are also sets for releasing heater hoses on different makes. Choose the set that matches the vehicle type you work on.
Which version do you choose?
The choice depends on the work you do. Do you regularly replace coolant? Choose a filling and bleeding device with a universal adapter. Do you also do air conditioning repairs? Then invest in a complete air conditioning service set with adapters and a manifold gauge. Check beforehand which connection your vehicle needs. An adapter that does not fit slows down your work and can damage the coupling. Does the tool replace an OEM number? Then you know it will fit.
