Rivet Pliers
Choose riveting pliers based on the blind rivet sizes you use. Most pliers work from 2.4 to 4.8 mm or up to 6.4 mm. Longer handles deliver more leverage for larger rivets, but they make the tool longer and less agile. Check that the nosepiece is interchangeable and that there is a tension adjuster. That way you set the closing force to the material thickness. A riveting plier with a storage case or a set with nozzles and spare parts is handy for daily use. The hanging loop is also practical, you can mount the pliers on your tool board.

Riveting Pliers: Which Size and Type?
Which size riveting pliers do you need?
Riveting pliers set blind rivets from 2.4 to 4.8 mm. Some models go up to 6.4 mm. Choose the tool that fits the rivets you use. Check if the pliers have interchangeable nozzles. That way you can set all sizes without extra tools.
What to look for when ordering?
Check the handle length. Long handles give more power but make the tool less manoeuvrable. Choose short pliers for tight spots. An adjustable tension control is useful. It lets you set the force to the material thickness. This prevents damage to the rivet.
Why a set or storage box?
A set with extra nozzles and spare parts is handy for daily use. A storage box keeps everything together. You always have the right nozzle within reach. A hanging loop on the pliers is practical. You can hang them on your tool board.
Riveting pliers are part of the complete range of pliers for the workshop. If you also set rivet nuts, look at special pliers for that tool. For cutting wire and sheet metal you use cutting pliers, and for clamping sheet metal while riveting grip pliers are handy.
