Single Sizes
Missing a socket from your set or need an extra one? Buy sockets individually. Choose the drive: 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch. Then select the socket size in millimetres. Check the profile: six-point or twelve-point. The finish prevents rust. Many have a hanging hole.

Single Socket Sizes
Which size and type
You choose a single socket per size. First pick the drive: 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch. Then select the metric socket size. This way you build a set that matches your work. Check that the size you need is actually available. Not every size comes in every drive.
Where ordering goes wrong
A common mistake is choosing the wrong drive. A 1/2 inch socket does not fit a 3/8 inch ratchet. Measure the square drive on your ratchet or check the marking on an existing socket. Pick the wrong size and you will have to return it. Also check the socket size: it is marked in millimetres on the side.
Profile and finish
The profile determines how the socket grips the bolt. A hex profile is less likely to round off than a twelve-point profile. The finish protects against rust and makes cleaning easy. Many models have a hanging hole. That way you hang them back on the tool wall after use.
