Equipped trolleys: ready to work

Choose an equipped tool trolley if you don't want to worry about the contents. These trolleys often include a set of sockets, ratchets and torque wrenches. You grab the trolley and start working. But note: the included tool set is not always complete for your specific jobs. Check the tool list before you order. That way you know you choose the right version.

Empty trolleys: fill them yourself

An empty tool trolley is more flexible. You fill the drawers with your own set, exactly as you want. This is the best choice if you already have a complete tool set. With an empty trolley, pay close attention to the external dimensions: height, width and depth. The number of drawers and their sizes determine what fits. A drawer that pulls out fully gives better visibility and reach. That prevents you from searching for tools at the back of the drawer.

What to check on every trolley

Always check the wheels. Larger wheels roll more smoothly over uneven floors. Small wheels get stuck more quickly. Also think about the load capacity. A sturdy model does not tip over with heavy loads. Measure the height: the trolley must fit under your workbench. A trolley that is too high won't fit. A trolley that is too wide blocks the aisle.
