Bulkhead union, plastic 6 mm with nut

The plastic bulkhead fitting. Lighter than brass and cheaper, working the same way: through the hole, nut behind, tube in on either side.

On a plastic enclosure or a thin sheet panel this is the sensible choice, not least because no galvanic corrosion can start between two metals. Where things get pulled or knocked, stay with brass.
