KUKKO 54-3 Double-cutting, mechanical nut splitter Capacity 17-36 mm

The double-sided, mechanical nut splitters are used for splitting stubbornly seized, rusted or stripped nuts up to a tensile strength of 800 N/mm². When splitting, the threaded stud remains undamaged. The two sharp cutting edges of the splitting chisel, sharpened by facet grinding, penetrate deep into the nut when the spindle is tightened until it is split. Thanks to the double splitting action, only one work step is required. Crushing the nut is possible without damaging the threaded bolt. The Pullback Technology guarantees easy retraction of the chisel from the split nut.
