Work with a ratchet
These push fit ring spanners replace a fixed ring spanner. You fit them onto a ratchet or socket wrench with a 9x12 mm drive. This lets you reach nuts in tight spots, such as on brake calipers and suspension components. The 12-point profile grips the nut fully. You apply force without slipping.
Choose the right size
Across flats range from 10 to 24 mm. Always measure the nut or bolt with a caliper. A spanner that is too large damages the corners of the nut. One that is too small will not fit. Choose the spanner that fits exactly over the nut. One handle works with multiple sizes. This keeps your tool box compact.
What to check when ordering
Check the drive of your ratchet or socket wrench. These spanners only fit a 9x12 mm drive. Other sizes, such as 10x13 mm, require a different type. Also consider the version. The open-end version is suitable for nuts on axles or where a closed ring cannot fit over. This prevents ordering the wrong tool.
