Straight fittings
The straight fitting does the simplest job in a compressed air system: joining two ends on one axis. Tube to tube, tube to a threaded port in a cylinder, or two tube sizes together with a reducer.Choose on thread type. A tapered thread screws straight into the port and seals itself. A parallel thread needs an O-ring and a flat face to land on. If there is no thread at all, it is tube to tube and size is the only thing you need to know.
