Which size or version do you need?

A pull and press set contains sleeves, drifts and spindles in different sizes. The spindles have threads from M10 to M16. You use them to pull old bearings from the hub and press new ones straight in. Check the number of parts. A set with more parts covers more common bearing sizes. For heavy work, reinforced versions are available. They have thicker spindles and stronger sleeves.

Where does ordering go wrong?

The spindle length determines whether you reach deeper hub positions. Check the length before you order. A spindle that is too short will not pull the bearing fully from the hub. A spindle that is too long will not fit in the press. Also check the spindle thread. It must fit the puller or press you already have. Some sets include a storage case. That keeps all sleeves and spindles organised and protected.

Which standard matters?

There is no universal standard for bearing press sleeves. The sizes follow the bearing types you replace. Choose a set that covers common sizes, such as bearings for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Rubber bushes also have no fixed standard. The outer diameter and height differ per vehicle. A set with multiple bush and sleeve sizes helps you find the right combination. That way you replace the bush without damaging the axle.
