Tool Trolley Tool Trays
Tool trays for your tool trolley
Tool trays bring order to the drawers of your tool trolley. They come in fixed sizes: 1/6, 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 and XL. Each size fits a specific drawer width. Always measure the internal dimensions of your drawer first. This ensures the tray fits properly.
Narrow drawers and small modules
A 1/6 tray suits a narrow drawer. It holds items like a set of brass punches or a crowfoot wrench set. A 1/3 tray fills one third of the drawer. Ideal for a socket set with 6.3 mm (1/4") drive or a screwdriver set. These trays come in hard plastic or flexible foam. Check the height, as a ratchet needs more space than a loose socket.
Wide drawers and full coverage
A 2/3 tray leaves one third of the drawer free for larger items. Choose an empty tray to fill yourself or a complete set with open-end spanners. A 3/3 tray fills the full width of a standard drawer. Use it for large sets, such as an 80-piece socket set or special tools for tyre service. For extra wide drawers, choose the XL tray. It keeps large tool sets neatly in place, even with heavy parts.
Where ordering goes wrong
Many mechanics order a tray without measuring the drawer. The result: a module that does not fit or is too high. Always check the dimensions of both the tray and the drawer. Choose an XL module only for extra wide drawers. This prevents your tools from not fitting in your tool trolley. If you are unsure about the layout of your trolley, also check the accessories for your tool trolley.
