Y and cross fittings

A Y splits one supply neatly into two equal branches. Unlike a tee, both outlets sit at an angle, so the tubes run apart on their own and you avoid a sharp bend.The cross does the same with four ports on one point. Handy when you feed several cylinders from one spot. Do the maths though: every split costs pressure, and four consumers on a 4 mm tube will run dry the moment they all pull at once.
