KUKKO 76-18 Hinged hook wrench DIN 1810 Form A with nose for lock nuts with outside diameters 35-60 mm
The joint hook wrenches with cold-protection grip from series 76 are used to loosen or tighten lock nuts. These nuts often have recesses or notches specifically designed for use with hook wrenches. Joint hook wrenches are distinguished by a special construction that allows access to hard-to-reach places. The advantage lies in the joint section of the wrench. The hinge mechanism between the handle and the head of the wrench allows the angle of application to be flexibly adjusted. This facilitates working in tight spaces or on screws that are in an awkward position. The hook wrenches engage in these recesses, thereby enabling a rotational movement. Such wrenches are used, for example, in mechanical engineering or the automotive industry, especially on components subject to high loads that require strong securing, such as in transmissions or shaft connections.
