KUKKO 76-20 Hinged hook wrench DIN 1810 Form A with nose for lock nuts with outside diameters 90-150 mm
The hinged hook wrenches with cold protection from series 76 are used for loosening or tightening lock nuts. Hinged hook wrenches are characterized by a special construction that makes it possible to reach difficult-to-access places. The advantage lies in the hinged part of the wrench. The hinge mechanism between the handle and the head of the wrench makes it possible to flexibly adjust the angle of application. This facilitates working in tight spaces or on bolts that are positioned in an unfavorable position. These nuts often have recesses or notches that are specially designed for use with hook wrenches. The hook wrenches engage in these recesses, thus enabling a rotational movement. Such wrenches are used, for example, in mechanical engineering or the automotive industry, especially on components that are heavily loaded and require a strong fastening, such as in gearboxes or shaft connections. The KUKKO hook wrenches include a label with the SKF table for clear assignment of which wrench is compatible with which nut. Suitable for N, AN, KMK, KMFE, and KMT nuts as well as for all nuts according to DIN 1804. Optimal fit prevents damage to lock nut and shaft. Dirt-repellent plastic handle guarantees perfect grip.
