The plug is the male half and goes on the loose end: on a blow gun, an impact wrench or the end of your hose. It has no moving parts, so there is nothing on it that can start playing up.Keep more of these than sockets. Every tool gets one, while a single socket on the wall serves them all. Pick the same profile as the socket it has to enter, or it simply will not fit.
