Spare Parts for Your Workshop Tools
Choose the Right Part for Your Tool
Spare parts come in many sizes and versions. Always check the size of the part you need. Measure the diameter of a drill bush or the thread size of a spindle. This prevents ordering the wrong part. If the size is not in the product description, measure the original part.
Where Ordering Goes Wrong
Many parts look similar but differ in detail. A pressure piece for a glue clamp does not fit another clamp automatically. The across flats of a nut or the length of a spindle also determine if a part fits. Always check the type number of your tool. Only then you know the part will fit.
Quality and Standards
Tools must work safely. Therefore, some parts are bound to standards, such as DIN 3113 for adjustable wrenches. Always use parts that meet the same standard as your original tool. This keeps your tool reliable and safe. Replace worn parts in time; it extends the life of your tool.
Looking for the tools these parts belong to? Take a look at hand tools, clamps and tensioners or striking and marking. You will also find matching parts at punches, extractors and shears.
