A double ring spanner has a closed ring at both ends. It fully surrounds the nut. That means you grip the flats of the bolt or nut, not the corners. This prevents damage. The extra long version gives more leverage. You can loosen heavy connections without losing force.

Size and version

You choose the size combination that fits your bolts and nuts. Common combinations are 10x11, 13x15 and 17x19. The rings are often 12-point. That grips hexagon and double hexagon. You find a flat to grip more quickly, even in tight spots. If you prefer a single size, for example for a specific nut, you order an individual size. Where ordering goes wrong

Do not order a set blindly. First check which sizes your vehicle needs. An extra long version gives more leverage, but it does not fit everywhere. Measure the space around the nut. A ring with a 15-degree offset protects your knuckles when working straight. The long shaft provides more torque, but it also needs more room to turn. For a complete set with storage tray, choose an assortment with multiple sizes.

The wrench is made of chrome vanadium steel. That is strong and does not deform quickly. The chrome plating prevents rust. Choose a version that fully surrounds the nut.
