Which size or version do you need?
An induction heater heats metal without an open flame. You use it to free rusted bolts, bearings and other parts. The power and coil size determine the maximum workpiece diameter. Choose a model that suits the sizes you meet in the workshop. Straight or bent coils reach different positions.
Where ordering goes wrong
Check the mains voltage of the unit. A wrong voltage means an immediate return. Also look at the coils available separately. Not every coil fits every model. Measure the diameter of the workpiece and compare it with the coil specifications.
Which standard matters?
Check the protection rating of the unit. Dust and moisture are common in a workshop. A unit with a higher IP rating withstands those conditions better. Use the correct coil for the job and avoid overheating surrounding parts.
