Which version suits your work?

A spray gun comes in different versions. The choice starts with the material you want to spray. For fine paint, use a fine nozzle. For thick undercoating, choose a larger nozzle. The cup size determines how long you can work. A 500 cm³ cup is fine for small repairs. For larger surfaces, choose a 1000 cm³ cup.

What goes wrong when ordering?

The biggest risk is a gun that uses too much air for your compressor. Check the air consumption and working pressure. That way you know if your compressor can handle it. The standard air connection is 1/4 inch. Check if your hose and fittings match. A gun with a hook can be hung on a jaw. That is handy during work.

Which standard matters?

There is no special DIN standard for spray guns. However, the gun must be suitable for compressed air. Check the maximum working pressure. It is stated on the gun. Never exceed it. That keeps you safe and the gun lasts long.
