What to Look for in an Air Drill
Straight or Jaw Version
Choose the version based on the space you work in. A straight drill suits most jobs. A jaw version reaches tight spots, like between chassis and body. Measure the workspace before you order.
Air Consumption and Compressor
Each tool has a specific air consumption. Compare it with your compressor's output. A model that needs more air than your compressor delivers will lose speed and power. Check the required pressure and the consumption at that pressure.
Speed and Drill Holder
The maximum speed determines how fast you drill through different materials. Use a lower speed for steel, a higher one for aluminium. The holder must grip the drill securely. A quick-release holder changes drill sizes without tools.
