Screwdrivers

Working on live parts up to 1,000 V requires properly insulated screwdrivers. They are tested to the relevant standards and have insulation right down to the tip. Choose from slotted, Phillips, Pozidriv or Torx profiles. The handle is comfortable and heat resistant. Always check the voltage rating on the tool before use. That prevents mistakes.

Safe work up to 1,000 V

Which type do you need?

Insulated screwdrivers come in flat, Phillips, Pozidriv and Torx. The tip size must match the screw. A tip that is too small damages the screw head. Always check the size on the blade.

What to look for when ordering

The insulation runs right up to the tip. That is the part that can come under voltage. Check that the screwdriver meets the standard for work up to 1,000 V. The maximum voltage is marked on the blade. Never use it above that rating.

Why a set is useful

A set with several sizes and profiles covers most jobs in the workshop. You always have the right screwdriver at hand. Store them dry and protected from impacts. This keeps the insulation in good condition.

These screwdrivers fall under High-Voltage & Insulated Tools. If you want a complete set, look at Tool Assortments. For tightening and loosening nuts, use Spanners, and for work with sockets and bits there are Socket Bits and Bit Socket Sets.
