Sealing washer for tapered thread 1/2"

A sealing washer for a tapered male thread. It sits under the head of the fitting and is squashed flat as you tighten, sealing the thread without tape.

Replace it whenever you refit a coupling. A washer that has been flattened once will not spring back, and reusing it anyway is the cheapest way to create a leak you will be hunting for later.
