Spare blades for thread repair
Which size do you need?
Spare blades come in 60° for metric and UN threads. The 55° version is for British Standard threads. Always check the pitch of the thread you are repairing. That way you choose the right blade.
Where ordering goes wrong
Many mechanics order a blade without checking the thread fineness. For threads coarser than 17 TPI or 1.5 mm pitch, use a standard blade. For threads finer than 17 TPI or 1.5 mm, you need a special blade. A wrong choice damages the thread. So always measure the pitch first.
Parts and accessories
Besides blades, you will find guide sleeves and keyway skip adapters here. They keep the tool straight during the repair. Nylon protective pads prevent damage to the workpiece. Blades are supplied per piece. That way you only replace what is worn.
