Ring main installation tools

The deburring tool takes the burr off a sawn pipe end; leave it on and it cuts the O-ring as you push in, giving you a leak you cannot see.A saddle tap needs a drill jig and a cutter, which put the hole at the right diameter and square to the pipe. Drilled at an angle, the seal only grips on one side, and you find out once the system is pressurised.
