Ring main system
A ring main is the fixed compressed air line through your workshop: aluminium pipe on the wall, with drops to each work station. Unlike a hose snaking across the floor it delivers the same pressure everywhere, and nobody trips over it.The pipe is calibrated, so the fittings seal on it without welding, soldering or cutting threads. Saw, deburr, push in. That makes it a system you install yourself and extend yourself later.

Answers to the most common questions from our customers
Look at the air consumption of your heaviest tool and the length of the run. For a workshop with a few stations 25 or 32 mm is plenty. Go past fifty metres, or hang several impact wrenches on it at once, and you want 40 mm with drops down to 20 or 25.
In a ring the air reaches every drop from two directions. That halves the pressure loss at the far point and a peak at one station barely shows at the others. A dead-end run always sags at the far end first.
Yes. Lay the pipe with a slight fall towards one point and put a drain there. That is where condensate belongs, not in the tools. Always take drops off the top of the pipe, then water cannot run into them on its own.
Yes, that is the whole point of the system. You need a fine-tooth saw, the deburring tool, and for saddle taps a drill jig with a cutter. Saw, square it off, push in. No welding set or blowtorch involved.
A pipe adaptor or a threaded fitting connects to what is already there, in sizes from 1/2 to 3 inch. On the largest pipe size a flange will do it too. Measure the thread size of your existing line first.
